KEY FEATURES

The most significant difference lies in how companies typically set their EQ frequencies and bandwidth, particularly for the low end. Utilizing the proven WJBP EQ design method, I’ve crafted an onboard preamp that stands apart.

  • Precision Frequency Selection
Each frequency band is carefully chosen to enhance the attack and body of your instrument’s sound. The bandwidth (Q) is designed to encompass the critical frequencies of each open string while avoiding interference with adjacent EQ settings. This ensures clarity, power, and a balanced tonal foundation.
  • Tailored for Versatility
This preamp allows for fine-tuning to accommodate variations in pickup frequency response. Whether you’re compensating for pickup characteristics or tailoring your tone for a specific musical context, this preamp provides unparalleled flexibility.

MAXIMIZING PERFORMANCE

For optimal results, it’s essential to ensure your bass is set up correctly. Adjust pickup height and balance to achieve maximum output without excessive boominess. With this solid foundation, you’ll be able to fully leverage the capabilities of the preamp.
